What this tool is built to

This quote tool is designed, built, and tested against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. It was last tested on September 9, 2026 in two browser engines (Chromium and WebKit) on desktop and mobile screen sizes, with automated checks on every view and keyboard-only navigation. Testing is repeated on a schedule and after changes, and the date above is updated each time.

What that means in practice

  • Every view can be used with a keyboard alone, including the PIN pad, the steppers, and the option rows, with a visible focus outline and a skip link.
  • Controls carry names and roles so screen readers can announce what each button, field, and toggle does.
  • Text and its background meet the WCAG contrast minimums, and the tool stays usable at 200 percent zoom.
  • Form fields have visible labels and clear error messages.
  • The quote PDF is generated with real text, not an image of text.
  • Motion is limited to short feedback, and it respects reduced motion settings.

Ongoing work and known limits

Accessibility is ongoing work, not a box checked once. Changes are checked before they ship, and the whole tool is re-tested on a schedule. Sharing a quote by text message hands off to your phone's own messaging app, which is outside our control. If any step gets in your way, email us and we will get the quote to you another way.
